It`s Friday, which means it`s time to relax. We have a fresh new cocktail to help you end the week on a good note, our Bacardi Fizz is nothing short of a tropically sweet and refreshing cocktail, so grab a glass and some ice, and here`s to the weekend!

Bacardi and the Fizz

Servings: 1

Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients

2 oz Bacardi Gold Rum

1 oz Pineapple Juice

1 oz Pineapple Syrup

1 tsp Fresh Lime Juice

½ oz Grenadine

Club Soda

Ice (optional)

Step-by-Step

1.       If you have pineapple syrup at home, skip this step. To make a pineapple syrup, follow these steps. Add 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1 cup of sugar and 3 slices of pineapple to a pot and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat, remove pineapple slices and reserve in the fridge for up to a week. You can use the pineapple slices for garnish or just enjoy them as you wish. Let it cool completely before using.

2.       Wet the rim of a clean glass with pineapple juice and dip it in sugar.

3.       Shake pineapple syrup, pineapple juice, rum, lime juice and ice in a cocktail shaker for about 30 seconds. Strain into a glass and add the grenadine slowly. Top it with club soda and garnish with Maraschino cherries and pineapple or lime slices.
