Lavender Whisky Sour

Lavender Whisky Sour

Ingredients
4 oz Whisky or Bourbon
1 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 1/2 oz Lavender Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
Bitters
Ice
Step-by-Step
Make the simple syrup by mixing 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 tsp of dry lavender in a small pot. Stir and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat and let it cool fully.
Add whisky, lavender simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds vigorously.
Add ice and shake vigorously for another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour without ice into a cup and add 2-3 drops of bitters to the top. Serve on the rocks or neat with a sliver of orange or lemon peel.
