Lavender Whisky Sour

Happy Drinks Friday Everyone! Making this jack sour is extremely simple, all you need is a bit of arm strength. So, get your shaker arm ready, and enjoy this tasty drink!

Lavender Whisky Sour

Servings: 2

Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

4 oz Whisky or Bourbon

1 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

1 1/2 oz Lavender Simple Syrup

1 Egg White

Bitters

Ice

Step-by-Step

  1. Make the simple syrup by mixing 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 tsp of dry lavender in a small pot. Stir and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat and let it cool fully.

  2. Add whisky, lavender simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds vigorously.

  3. Add ice and shake vigorously for another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour without ice into a cup and add 2-3 drops of bitters to the top. Serve on the rocks or neat with a sliver of orange or lemon peel.
